A stroke is taken, the canvas is stained.
All this paint used; with nothing gained.
Intending to fix, only to worsen,
what was already perfect to certain eyes.
As the stroke is taken,
the artist sees the ways of this demise.
The project was done; and already quite great,
but the artist felt it wasn't all he could demonstrate.
With a second look back at his work, it seemed worse.
He found that there were flaws; undiagnosed.
In frustration of ignorance he hurried,
and in the stroke of thick paint, the masterpiece was engrossed.
